Specialized Rehabilitation Therapy & Audiology Recruiting, Led by a Licensed Clinician

APT Recruiting connects Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and Audiologists with healthcare organizations nationwide. Every candidate we present is screened by a clinician for the setting, caseload, and schedule—so you receive qualified candidates who align with the needs of your position.

Discovering apt candidates for our clients' success: our expertise, your perfect match.

Who we place

Four therapy professions. One recruiter who has done the clinical work.

Physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists and audiologists, with PTAs, COTAs and SLPAs alongside them, plus the therapy leaders who run the department. We also recruit nurse practitioners and physician assistants.

The therapy workforce

We recruit from the numbers, not the job board.

Every state and metro page on this site carries the current federal count of therapists, what they are paid, where they work and which licensure compacts apply. The same data shapes every search we run.

How it works

Three steps from open seat to signed offer.

Clients typically receive the first vetted candidates within one to two weeks of providing the recruiting brief and search requirements.

1

A clinician takes the brief

Discipline, setting, caseload, productivity, schedule, pay. Molly is a licensed speech-language pathologist, so the questions are the ones a therapist would ask before saying yes.

2

We work the whole market

Not the applicants who happened to see your posting. We approach the PTs, OTs, SLPs and audiologists who match, in your market and, for hard seats, across the country.

3

You meet people who already said yes

Every candidate you see has been screened for the setting and has agreed to a conversation about your organization. Interviews, feedback and the offer are handled from there.

What clients and placed therapists say

“Molly was so helpful in finding me a PT! She kept me up to date on her progress, sent weekly updates, and made sure that my expectations were communicated to each and every candidate!”
Aashir AggarwalOwner, Fyzical Therapy and Balance Centers
“Molly spent a lot of times speaking to me so she could be really clear on the type of SLP we were looking for. She also spent a lot of time speaking to candidates to find a right fit. She found an incredible SLP to add to our team and she is a great match. Molly has great customer service, she's easy to contact, and she really cares about finding the best fit. As a speech language pathologist herself, she really sees the importance of matching the right candidate for the job so that everyone can fulfilled in their work. I highly recommend her.”
Samara ShalomSpeech-Language Pathologist and Practice Owner, Speech Leap

Questions hiring managers and directors of rehab ask us

How does a therapy search with APT Recruiting work?+

It starts with a short call to take the brief: the discipline, the setting, the caseload and productivity expectations, the schedule and the pay range. Because APT is run by a licensed speech-language pathologist, the screen covers clinical fit, not just a license check. We then work your market for PTs, OTs, SLPs or audiologists who match, confirm interest, and send you candidates who have already said yes to a conversation about your organization. Clients typically receive the first vetted candidates within one to two weeks of providing the recruiting brief and search requirements.

Do you work on contingency or retained?+

Contingency recruiting. There is no fee unless a successful placement is made.

What does it cost to hire through a therapy recruiter?+

Agreed in writing before you see a candidate's details. Every direct-hire placement carries a 90-day replacement guarantee. If the candidate resigns or is terminated for cause during the first ninety calendar days of employment, APT Recruiting immediately begins a one-time search for a replacement in the same position, at no additional charge.

Which roles and settings do you cover?+

Physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists and audiologists, including PTAs, COTAs and SLPAs, plus directors of rehab and other therapy leadership. Settings include hospitals and acute rehab, skilled nursing, home health, outpatient clinics, schools and pediatrics, and telehealth. We also recruit nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
